Kolber is a native of Pennsylvania earned a doctoral education from University of Miami. Her career in the field began when she was a Video Coordinator at CBS Sports, New York City. She was awarded an Sports Emmy while working at WTVJ-TV, Miami. She worked at WPLG-TV, Miami as well as WPEC-TV West Palm Beach. In 1993, she joined ESPN and was selected as one of the first anchors for ESPN2 after it's launch during the same year. The station was her home for ESPN2 for three years prior to leaving to join Fox Sports. Then, in 1999, she returned to ESPN where she is host of the show 'Monday night Countdown'.
